JOSHUA PERRY: Now, 14 years later, with the release of the New York Times documentary, “Framing Britney Spears,” the media is finally beginning to revisit the role it played in framing her young adult life around misogynistic stereotypes and provoking so-called “breakdowns” for a front page story.ĮRICA DAVIS: I’ll admit it, I love a celebrity scoop as much as the next person.
